Sabbash Rituporno

The people who think Rituporno "insulted" Mir for cheap publicity, think again. Those who have never been marginalised for some reason or the other, won't feel the pain, the wound that is created. The famous Mr. P.C Sircar Jr. said that he was proud to be a part of Mir's mimicry. Ofcourse he would be. Since Mir's mimicry brings his name into limelight and he doesn't have to pay any price for that. Also he is not marginalised because of a certain preference of his. It is a publicity for him. But what about Rituporno? Has anyone tried to understand what he said? He kept on saying that he is protesting on behalf of those people whom he represents. It is about community feelings. The people who are laughing at him and ridiculing him are doing so because of the majority complex and internalised homophobia. It is unfortunate that they don't really understand that. Ask those people whom Rituporno "represents", how proud, how happy they must have been when Riuporno was speaking on their behalf on the national television. They are those people who are marginalised at every step, since the majority of us forget that it is not a curse, it is not a shame, it is a matter of preference. Just a preference. It is not the identity of a human being. It is the orientation. And, most importantly, it does not actually determine who you are and what you are. Is it that difficult to accept? People who are homophobic, can they really explain what exactly do they dislike about the alternate sexuality? How many of us are aware of the IPC 377 and the baselessness of it? How many of the people who ridicule Rituporno because of his "effiminacy" can actually explain the rule book that explains and determines the behavior quotient for men and women? So, get your answers ready first and then laugh!
